Li Chun (立春) falls on 4 February 2025. It signifies "the Beginning of Spring", and is the start of a new Chinese solar year. Here is the ideal time to deposit money for good luck, according to your zodiac sign.

Have you ever noticed snaking queues forming at banks and ATMs on a particular day around Chinese New Year?

This special day is called Li Chun (立春), and according to Chinese feng shui, it is supposedly an auspicious day for depositing money into your bank account.

You see, Li Chun marks the day the new lunar year begins the flow of qi. This belief has been co-opted in modern day; depositing money into your bank account on  Li Chun symbolises steady income and wealth throughout the year.

But lest you think depositing money at any old time will do the trick, note that you should only do so during allocated auspicious timings throughout the day. This depends on your Chinese Zodiac sign, and changes from year to year.

For this Year of the Snake, here are the recommended timings to deposit money on Li Chun for optimal luck!
