Credit Card Spend and Redeem Promotions in Singapore
Because we know you shoppers are busy people, we’ve rounded up the best credit card spend and redeem promotions for the Great Singapore Sale this 2017. We’ll update this list as we come across more promotions, so don’t forget to check back often!
AMEX: S$50 Voucher With Minimum Spend of S$350 At Suntec City
If you’re planning a shopping spree at Suntec City, make sure to bring along your American Express credit card.
You can claim a S$50 Suntec City voucher if you spend S$350 or more this GSS using your Amex. With its good mix of shops spanning household essentials to the latest fashion must-haves, you’ll rack up S$350 in no time!
To redeem your voucher, simply bring your receipts (you can combine a maximum of 3) and charge slips to any of the Concierge counters scattered throughout the shopping mall. Redemptions are valid only on the same day of purchase though, so make sure you swing by the Concierge before you go home.
Terms & Conditions:
- Promotion valid from 19 Jun to 17 Jul 2017
- Limited to 1 voucher per Cardmember
- Offers valid while stocks last
S$350 is quite a sum so we recommend using the American Express Singapore Airline KrisFlyer Credit Card for this promotion. This card lets you earn 1.1 KrisFlyer miles per S$1 spent, helping you sock away air miles for your year-end vacation.
Don’t have this card yet? Apply now through SingSaver.com.sg to receive a S$125 Tung Lok voucher once your application gets approved.
StanChart: Spinner Luggage or JW Marriott Hotel Stay
Shop with your Standard Chartered credit card this GSS and you could very well find yourself checking in at the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach to be pampered with a luxurious 2-night weekend staycay.
To redeem this reward, simply be the first 500 cardmembers to charge at least S$25,000 in eligible purchases by 15 Jul 2017.
But you don’t have to spend like the top 1% to be rewarded. The first 1,500 shoppers charging between S$18,000 and S$24,999 within the qualifying period can enjoy a 1-day weekend stay, also at JW Marriott Hotel.
Or maybe you prefer to get out for the country for your getaways. Well then, charge at least S$9,000 to claim a free American Tourister Preston 28″ Spinner Luggage. A total of 2,500 redemptions are on offer.
Terms & Conditions:
- Promotion valid from now till 15 Jul 2017
- Qualifying cardmember will receive 1 of 3 gifts only
Large purchases are best paired with credit cards that don’t limit your rewards. One such card is the Standard Chartered Unlimited Cashback Credit Card, which gives you 1.5% cashback on all your purchases.
By the time you charge S$9,000 (which is enough to claim the spinner luggage) you’d also have collected S$135 in cash rebate. Your savings only increase as you work your way up to the hotel stays.
