From local food festivals and free dance performances to neon-lit volleyball games on the beach, here are 4 fun - and free - events to enjoy with family and friends this November.
Halloween is over, but the real scary thing is that Christmas is just around the corner — again! — and it’s almost time to bid farewell to yet another year.
That said, it is a time of making merry; i.e., a time of spending lots of money what with all the gifts you need to buy, and all the parities you want to attend.
But you know, that doesn’t mean you need to deprive yourself this month in order to have more fun in the next. To save yourself a bit of money, check out these 4 free activities you can enjoy with your friends this November!
Let’s Go Jalan Jalan Food and Music Festival: Free Admission
A fun-filled day is guaranteed for the whole family. Food, music, games and parades — what more can a budget fun-seeker ask for?
Indulge in local and Asian foods while you bask in performances by local artists, or take a few fun snaps at the photo booth. The heritage corner is a great way for young ones to learn a bit more about our Singapore culture.
Although the activities and food have to be paid for with coupons — which you can purchase on the day and online — the admission to the festival is free, with a complimentary shuttle service as well.
Pick-ups are at Seah Im carpark, next to Harbourfront MRT station and Labrador Park MRT station. Gather the family and your friends pronto.
